𐙚 Toppings :
• 2 ripe mangoes
• Vanilla ice cream (optional, but recommended for extra creaminess)
How to Make Mango Bingsu at Home :
♡ Step 1 – Prepare the mango :
Peel and cut 1 mango, then blend it into a smooth puree.
If you don’t have a blender, finely chop the mango until it becomes soft and juicy.
Set aside the second mango and cut it into small cubes for topping.
♡ Step 2 – Mix the bingsu base :
In a bowl, combine:
• mango puree
• whole milk
• condensed milk
Mix well until smooth, creamy, and evenly blended.
♡ Step 3 – Freeze the mixture :
Pour the mixture into a shallow container or a ziplock bag.
Freeze until completely solid, about 4 hours or overnight.
♡ Step 4 – Shave the ice :
Once frozen:
• Use an ice shaver or blender to shave the milk ice finely
No blender?
Place the frozen block in a bag and gently crush it using:
• a rolling pin
• or a meat mallet
You’re aiming for soft, fluffy ice — like snow ❄️
♡ Step 5 – Assemble the mango bingsu :
In a bowl:
1. Add a generous layer of shaved milk ice
2. Top with fresh mango cubes
3. Add more shaved ice
4. Finish with a scoop of vanilla ice cream (optional)
Serve immediately and enjoy while cold and creamy.
♡ Tips for the Best Homemade Mango Bingsu :
• Use very ripe mangoes for natural sweetness
• Freeze the mixture flat for easier shaving
• Don’t over-blend the ice — texture matters
• Serve immediately for the best snow-like consistency
♡ Is Mango Bingsu Sweet ?
Mango bingsu is mildly sweet, creamy, and refreshing.
You can adjust sweetness by:
• adding more condensed milk
• or serving it with extra mango puree on top
