Japchae is a Korean stir-fried noodle dish made with:

Ingredients (4 servings)
• 200 g sweet potato glass noodles (당면)
• 150 g beef, thinly sliced (optional)
• 1 carrot, julienned
• ½ onion, sliced
• 4–5 mushrooms, sliced
• 1 bell pepper, sliced
• 100 g spinach
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 3 tbsp soy sauce
• 2 tbsp sugar
• 2 tbsp sesame oil
• 1 tbsp sesame seeds
• Salt & pepper
• Vegetable oil
Optional garnish: egg strips
How to Make Japchae (Step-by-Step) :
♡ Step 1 – Cook the Noodles :
Boil noodles 8–10 mins until soft.
Drain, rinse cold, cut shorter.
♡ Step 2 – Blanch Spinach :
Blanch briefly, rinse cold, squeeze dry.
Season lightly with salt & sesame oil.
♡ Step 3 – Cook Vegetables :
Stir-fry onion, carrot, mushrooms, bell pepper until tender-crisp.
♡ Step 4 – Cook the Beef :
Cook beef with garlic, soy sauce, sugar until browned.
♡ Step 5 – Combine Everything :
Mix noodles, vegetables, spinach, beef.
Add soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, sesame seeds.
Toss gently.
♡ Step 6 – Serve :
Top with egg strips if desired.
Serve warm or room temperature.
